4. Booking an Appointment

4.1. Making a Booking
Appointments can be booked via our website or by telephone. All bookings must be made and paid for in advance.

4.2. Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed when you receive written confirmation via email or text. You may be required to show this confirmation upon arrival.

4.3. If We Cannot Accept Your Appointment
In cases where we are unable to accommodate your appointment request, we will notify you and provide a refund where applicable.

4.4. UK-Based Services Only
Our services are available exclusively to individuals within the United Kingdom.

4.5. No Walk-in or Out-of-Hours Service
We operate strictly by appointment only and do not provide emergency or out-of-hours services.

4.6. Medical Emergencies
We do not provide emergency medical care. If you experience symptoms such as severe pain, heavy bleeding, suspected heart attack, stroke, or seizures, please seek immediate emergency medical attention.

4.7. Additional Services
Additional services such as prescriptions, medical letters, vaccinations, and diagnostic tests may be recommended during your consultation and will incur additional charges.

4.8. Enquiries
Information provided by our administrative team via phone or email is for guidance only and does not replace a formal consultation with a clinician.

5. Changes to Your Booking

5.1. Requesting a Change
If you need to modify your booking, please contact us at least 24 working hours before your appointment. Changes are subject to availability.

6. Providing Our Services

6.1. Location of Services
All consultations and treatments take place at DD Medical UK’s premises unless otherwise stated.

6.2. Fees and Charges
Our pricing is available on our website and is subject to change. Some consultation fees may be waived if additional treatments or tests are purchased during the appointment.

6.3. Identity Verification
We may request identification before providing services. If we are unable to verify your identity, we reserve the right to decline service.

6.4. Patients Only
Consultations are strictly for the individual booked in (or a guardian in the case of a child). We do not provide advice regarding third parties.

6.5. Delays and Cancellations
We are not responsible for delays due to circumstances beyond our control.

6.6. Missed Appointments
Missed appointments are non-refundable.

6.7. Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, we will try to accommodate you where possible. However, if this is not feasible, your appointment will be forfeited without refund.

6.8. Early Arrivals
Arriving early does not guarantee an earlier consultation.

6.9. Cancellations
Appointments cancelled less than 24 working hours before the scheduled time are non-refundable.

6.10. Refunds
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 14 days.

6.11. Hay Fever Injection Appointments
If you book a hay fever injection appointment but do not proceed with treatment, or if our clinician determines that you are unsuitable for the injection, you may be eligible for a partial refund equivalent to the cost of a 15-minute GP consultation.

7. Additional Services

7.1. Availability of Additional Services
Services such as prescriptions, referral letters, and diagnostic tests are provided at the clinician’s discretion and must be paid for in full before leaving the clinic.

7.2. Medication Restrictions
We do not prescribe:

  • Controlled or restricted substances under UK law.

  • Unlicensed medications.

  • Excessive quantities of medication, at the discretion of the clinician.

8. Prices

8.1. Pricing Information
All service fees are listed on our website and may be updated periodically.

8.2. Pricing Errors
If a pricing error is identified, we will inform you and provide the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel your booking.

9. Payments

9.1. Payment Terms
All services must be paid for in advance. Any additional services requested during a consultation must be paid for before leaving the clinic.

9.2. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payments via credit/debit card (Visa and MasterCard) and cash (in person only). Online and telephone payments are processed through Stripe, subject to Stripe’s terms and conditions.

10. Liability and Limitations

10.1. Liability for Loss or Damage
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or unforeseeable losses.

10.2. Exclusions of Liability
We are not responsible for:

  • Technical issues preventing appointment booking.

  • Service unavailability due to unforeseen circumstances.

  • Non-compliance with pre-appointment instructions (e.g., fasting or hydration requirements).

  • Failure to act on medical advice.

  • Missed or late appointments.

10.3. Events Outside Our Control
If an event beyond our control affects service delivery, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative appointment. If the disruption continues for over 30 days, you may cancel and request a refund for services not yet provided.

10.4. Total Liability
Our liability to you in connection with any booked appointment is limited to the total amount paid for that service.

11. General Terms

11.1. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

11.2. Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

11.3. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these terms as needed. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
